One of the challenges refugees face as they settle down in their new environment is the lack of nutritious food. The ACANA Food Bank program was created to increase food security and improve nutrition in the community, targeting refugees and asylees. In a partnership with SHARE Food, ACANA receives and distributes food once a month to low income residents at risk of hunger and malnutrition.
