The African
Cultural Alliance of North America Inc. is a non
profit 501 (c) (3) social services and cultural
organization dedicated to providing services
which enriches the lives of the African
immigrant through social and cultural services.
Its focus is to increase opportunities for the
Africans in the Southwest Philadelphia, other
parts of Philadelphia, and the surrounding five
counties to adapt to their new environment and
become self determined and productive member of
the community.
In 2004-2004, ACANA
served 375 African refugees, asylees, immigrants
and their families through the following
